There are many things that you can do to protect yourself against COVID-19 infection, but one of the most important things that you need to be diligent about is handwashing and cleaning. We use our hands for everything, and if you are outside your home, there is a potential that things you touch are contaminated. This means that you could get the virus on your hands and then transfer it to anything that you touch, possibly your face, and infecting yourself. You should make it a habit to wash your hands first thing when you get inside, and also to track down any surfaces that you might have touched on your way in to make sure that they are cleaned off with a disinfectant to kill any traces of the coronavirus that might be found there. While this might seem inconvenient, it can save lives. Until we are out of this crisis, extra vigilance with cleaning will pay off.
